Why aren't any other browser recommended?

Updated as of 16 DEC 2020 with current download links. Also, I've added recommended plug-ins for Firefox - some for privacy, some for nerds, and two dark mode viewers for you to choose from while you browse in the dark.

Firefox Desktop // Mobile

Firefox is my go-to browser. For your privacy, use these add-ons: Facebook Container, Privacy Badger, and DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials.  For the curious mind: Shodan.io and uMatrix.  For websites that don't have a dark theme: Dark Reader or Dark Night Mode

We will never know.. I won't touch it. Except to download Firefox!

Opera Desktop // Mobile

This browser does supoort the rounded corners of the 'boxes' on some pages, and does it with an interesting twist.  Support for the <video> tag is limited to showing the controls and acknowledging that there is something there, but won't fetch the video.. same goes for audio.

Safari v3.2

Oddly enough, this browser supports the 'Accordian' script on the Radio/TV (currently unlinked) page better than any other browser I have checked it with - including Safari v4.0.4!  It doesn't support the <video> tag.

Safari's only fault on a regular PC, is that it seems to display text that isn't set to be bold, be somewhere between normal and bold text in the above browsers.  Ironically weird.  This problem is non-existant on the Mac platform.  This browser will play all media on the site.
While I check it with Firefox, Safari displays it the best when comes to layout/design.
